It is quite ridiculous that man has become a slave to the technology that he has created. What is technology? It is nothing but a thought that has taken a concrete shape. If scientific inventions and discoveries were a seed, technology is a sapling that passes through changes many. Science is an abode of inventions, discoveries and innovations. Science is theoretical while technology is its applications to address the needs of the society. Science is also prone to dangers numerous. It is the common sense and leashed spirit of man that can check the dangers that gush out along with the boons of science. In most cases, it is seen that the manifested perils and unprecedented disaster, have managed to escape unnoticed while being processed in the hands of technology. Actually, it is the greed of man that does not allow him to give a second thought before giving it a shape of technological application. Even if man gave a second thought to it, it would be vain because he would compromise with impending danger by merely saying that he has a way to deal with things. Safety precautions would always be there but only to give assurances beyond limits. In many a case, safety installations too, remain like spectators who watch the event passively.
